DESCRIPTION
The hydraulic bottle jack is designed for jobs requiring heavy lifting. It cannot be used as a fixed support. It is also forbidden to use the jack to transport the lifted loads. The device has been designed for use in households only and must not be used for professional purposes, i.e. in the workplace or for paid work. The correct, reliable and safe operation of the device depends on its correct use, therefore, before starting to work with this tool, read the user manual. Specification: • lifting capacity: 10,000 kg • weight: 5,1 kg • minimum height: 200 mm • maximum height: 385 mm • additional height adjustment with a screw in the head (+ 6cm) • fill only with SAE 10 viscosity grade hydraulic oil Assembly and handling: 1. The jack comes as an assembled system and requires no assembly or adjustment. 2. Before starting work, perform approximately 6 complete pumping cycles with the drain valve unscrewed to ensure proper distribution of hydraulic oil. 3. Periodic tightening of all bolted connections is necessary - this will increase the safety of use and prolong the life of the jack. Lifting: Before starting the lift, make sure the lift operator has the jack and the lifted load in sight during all movements. 1. With the narrow end of the lift arm, close the relief valve by turning it clockwise as far as it will go. 2. Place the jack under the load to be lifted in the location intended for the use of jacks so that the load rests in the center of the jack saddle. 3. If necessary, the bolt which extends until the jack saddle comes into contact with the load to be lifted can be unscrewed in bottle jacks. 4. Slide the lift arm into the slot. Moving the arm up and down, lift the load to the required height. 5. After lifting, secure the load against falling, eg with jack stands. Descent: Before starting the descent, make sure that the load to be lowered will not injure the operator. 1. With the narrow end of the lift arm, slowly turn the relief valve counterclockwise. Do not open the relief valve more than necessary to slowly lower the load. Unscrewing the valve too much can cause it to unscrew from the housing. 2. When the load is completely lowered, unhook the jack arm and remove the jack from under the load. 3. For hydraulic bottle jacks screw in the extension bolt, if used.
