DESCRIPTION

Set includes: PVC plastic tube, reaction liquid 50ml, universal adapter: 25mm - 55mm. Tester is used to detect head gasket and cylinder head damage in liquid-cooled combustion engines (gasoline, diesel, LPG). Principle of operation: In the event of a damaged cylinder head gasket or the cylinder head itself, some of exhaust gases, including CO2, go to cooling system. The principle of operation of device is based on measuring CO2 concentration - when concentration increases, reaction fluid reacts with CO2 and changes color. Manual: Fill the instrument with reaction liquid (approx. 2 ml) up to level between the chambers. Connect tester to opening of expansion tank or cooler. Start the engine (preferably when warm), and let it run at high speed to obtain higher combustion pressure. Allow the motor to run slightly at high speed and observe its behavior of reaction fluid. A color change of reaction fluid to yellow or green a few minutes after test indicates a damaged head gasket or damage to the head itself. When testing is complete, carefully disassemble instrument. Attention. When performing the test on radiator filler, be extra careful when unscrewing the cap and during the test itself - risk of burns. When testing, do not allow coolant to mix with reaction fluid. If liquids are mixed, the test result may be faulty.
